Is 1 month enough time to import a puppy

Is 1 month enough time to import a puppy?
My grandparents live in poland and they want to buy a german shepherd puppy in poland and get it to the US for me and my family, but will they have enough time to buy it and get the paperwork done to bring it to the US by april 19 because that is when their flight is We want a Purebred and to have them look like a true German Shepherd, not just any dog. Can someone please just answer my question, not comment on it... It's starting to aggravate me.

If they do the paper work pretty soon i think it should be ready! Good luck let us know how it goes!

Why can't you get a German Shepherd in your country? It will be very stressful for the puppy and very expensive if you import it.

No clue. Tell your grandparents we have enough German Shepherds here filling our shelters and you'll pick your own dog out. You may have to worry about quarantining the puppy to screen it for illness and the flight may traumatize the dog for life.

okay. here's my question. Why don't they get on the computer and buy a puppy from the US? That way, the puppy won't have to wait so long.

I agree why do they have to buy a puppy in Poland? It's not like we don't have enough of them here. Why stress an animal if you don't have to?

Call the airlines they're flying and ask for the specific requirements, because it varies. I doubt a good breeder would be willing to arrange such a rush delivery so that will probably be an issue

First- what are the export regs of Poland for dogs? The US has regs that no puppy can be sold under 8 weeks. ( and yeah, I know that is fudged at times) This is interesting as Germany is the country of choice for import GS dogs unless you are in law inforcement -- then it's the IPO Czech dogs, My OPINION is the pup is too young. Make other arrangement.
