Why was there little intermarriage between Jews and Poles during the centuries they lived together in Poland?

Probably religious conflicts. Most marriages in the old days were all about religious compatibility.

Jewish women are forbidden from marrying outside the faith. Poles who are not Jews are Catholic, and the two groups worked to keep their identities.

The majority of Polish people are Catholic and mixed religious marriages back then were taboo.

Jewish people kept marriages in their society, bu some of them they started to polonaise themselves, they intermarried with Poles and adopted Polish culture and nationhood. A lot of famous Polish people were of Jewish background.
