You cannot tell if you are Jewish using your name and and where you live. If your parents are Jewish, so are you. People who think they can tell a religion by a name are sadly misinformed.

Are your parents Jewish? Then, yes, you are still Jewish. That has nothing to do with being an American as Americans are made up of different nationalities and ethnic groups.

Apparently a lot of Polish Jewish families hid their Jewish roots during WWII to escape persecution so who knows, you could be at least part Jewish.
