I was looking on http://www.speedtest.net/global.php#0,3,2 and internet speeds are up to 137 mbps in poland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live in the U.S. and i can only get speeds up to 50, why is that? Why does poland have crazy fast speeds, and when will those speeds show up in america?

there are a few major network hubs for the internet. the biggest is in Frankfurt, not too far away. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_exchange_points_by_size

The US is behind most of the world in Broadband speed, especiailly with wireless. Even third world countires have better Internet speeds than the US. Russia had fully operational 4G 4 years ago. All these Smart phones that are suddenly showing up in the US have been on the market for years in Asia and Europe.
