Living in Poland can be very difficult - especially with the financial crises. If you speak no Polish at all, you will be one lonely chicken. The earnings are not as good as in Germany, but it is livable. Rent and cost of property in cities like warsaw are expensive. The landscape in Warsaw is flat and almost boring in parts. They have nice forests around the outskirts, but not any different to east Germany. Trees - tons of conifers, water-loving trees like Beech, oak, Birch. If you were to visit - pack warm clothing for winter and light, durable clothing for summer. Think about clothing for rainy/changeable weather.

One. Living in Poland is fun :] Okay, I can agree that its easier to live in UK, but saying that it's hard is a bit of overstatement, most people now days do not struggle with their lives. There's a lot of clubbing, pubs, lots of cultural life, and it's all on a level ;) And 90% young people you'll meet will speak English. Two. Well, why not see for yourself: http://www.varsovia.pl/widok/index.php?pan?3,3,1,4,0?nav?175,3?24,42 http://www.fotografialotnicza.com.pl/Panorama_Warszawy.php Three. Oaks, birches, pines, beeches, lindens, poplars, maples, spruces...and more... Four. summer should be pretty hot, but better come prepared, as weather might get a bit unpredictable, so get some warm clothes as well, and something for the rain (and the last one is a must if you are going to Poland in spring/autumn, you'll be likely to get caught by some showers;]) PS. If you really want to come for a visit, I'd rather suggest you go to Krakow/Wroclaw/Gdansk rather than Warsaw...far nicer, and far more fun;)

hey i am a decendent of poland...i was born an american citizen though. all of my family lives in poland and i visit my grandparents there every year. one: it depends- you're either rich or poor. my grandparents have their own suit business so there life is awesome- everything is new and updated and the most modern. if you're poor, you either live in a run down home, or a badly cared for apartment buildings which are found almost everywhere. two: the capitol looks like more of a normal city- but its not that much different than other polish cities. my other relatives live their- one's in the Warsaw Village Band (look it up on youtube or itunes he's the one with big drum); landscape- its very beautiful- plains, deep forests, marshes, you need to see it yourself! there is also a ;olish spring with oure water you can drink from the stream! :D three: theres alot of trees four: it depends what you're doing. if you're hiking, bring active clothes and a hiking pack.if you're just visiting the cities and what not, bring normal clothes you would wear anywhere. i hope that helps!! =]

It's very pleasant because the weather is beautiful in the Spring and Summer. The capitol is really boring. New York style in Warsaw. That I don't know of. A lot of sh*t.
